American Society of Ocularists: An organization of ocularists whose credo is: research, education
and standards. A member since 1991.Board of Directors 2001-2004 and 2007-2010
National Examining Board of Ocularists: The National Examining Board of Ocularists is an
independent agency whose primary function is the assessment of competency
of ocularists. A four part examination must be passed and continuing education credits
are compulsory for updating and recertification. Presently there are 115 Board Certified Ocularists in the world.
